The Troodos National Forest Park Visitor Centre is located 200 metres to the west of Troodos Square, which is also reachable via a paved trail. Since July 2002, this centre has been in operation in Cyprus, making it the first organisation of its kind. The construction of the structure was carried out by the Cyprus Tourism Organisation, while the Forestry Department was responsible for its upkeep and operation as a visitor centre.
